JAKARTA GELAP GULITA

Jakarta - Kampanye hemat energi dilaksanakan di Jakarta selama satu jam malam ini. Ruas-ruas jalan protokol Ibukota pun gelap gulita.

Imbauan pemadaman lampu dan alat elektronik dilaksanakan mulai pukul 20.30 hingga 21.30 WIB, Sabtu (28/3/2009).

Pantauan detikcom, Jl Sudirman tampak gelap. Namun tidak semua perkantoran mematikan lampu, masih ada lampu di beberapa gedung yang menyala.

Di kawasan Kuningan pun lampu-lampu tampak dipadamkan. Namun di kawasan Casablanca, imbauan ini dianggap sepi. Lampu-lampu tampak menyala terang benderang.

Sementara itu di kawasan Bundaran HI yang gelap gulita. Tampak penguna sepeda maupun para aktivis lingkungan berfoto-foto dengan latar belakang Bundaran HI yang gelap.

JAKARTA - Ruas jalan protokol di DKI Jakarta gelap gulita. Lampu penerang jalan serta lampu pengatur lalu litas terpantau padam.

Menurut pantauan Traffic Management Center (TMC) Polda Metro Jaya, Jalan Sudirman, Jalan Semanggi, dan Jalan MH Thamrin terlihat gelap, hanya lampu kendaraan bermotor yang tampak di CCTV.

"Jalan protokol sudah gelap gulita," kata petugas TMC Polda Metro Jaya Briptu Andi saat dihubungi okezone, Sabtu (28/3/2009).

Namun TMC belum menerima laporan pasti tentang lokasi-lokasi yang terkena pemadaman sebagai bagian dari kampanye Global Earth Hour 2009 yang dicanangkan oleh Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta dan World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Indonesia.

Seperti diberitakan, dalam kampanye itu Pemprov DKI akan memadamkan listrik di lima titik di Jakarta mulai pukul 20.30-21.30 WIB, yaitu di Bundaran HI dan air mancur Hotel Indonesia, Monas, Gedung Balaikota DKI, Patung Pemuda, dan Air Mancur Arjuna Wiwaha.(lam)
